Liz Bronson is the owner of Liz Bronson Consulting- a recruiting company helping teams maximize their hiring processes by identifying the right roles, asking the right questions, and collecting the important feedback to make the best hire. Liz is passionate around designing authenic, candidate-centric recruiting processes that match a company's culture. Liz also does career coaching and general management coaching. Before starting her company, Liz worked for VMware building their Product Management and Marketing teams. Prior to VMware, Liz was a part of the HR team at Barclays Global Investors.
After growing up in Massachusetts, Liz went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she majored in Child and Family Studies before moving back to Boston to get her Masters in Education at Simmons College. After that year in Boston, Liz decided she was done with cold climates and moved to San Francisco to start her teaching career. After 2 years of teaching, Liz decided to explore life outside of the classroom, and her interest in the human side of business was born.
In San Francisco, Liz met her husband, Erick, and after their daughter Lexie (now 11) was born, they moved to Austin where, less than 2 years later, Zackary (now 9) was born. When she's not working or making memories with her family, Liz is active with Generation SERVE, a local nonprofit providing children with opportunities to volunteer, where she served as a Board member for four years. Liz also enjoys new adventures, cooking, exercise, laughing with friends and getting lost in a good novel.
